Russia's SOHIGHT delivers with this funktastic remix of Popular Computer's recent beauty "Lointain". The crazy synths and hard hitting disco house beats make for a sweet-n-spicy remix.
Dan Bombard AKA DINOSAURUS REX from Fort Collins, Colorado masters the groove with his newest jam, "Atlantic". Check out his SoundCloud page for much more from mr. future funk.
This remix by the German producer duo, Final DJs adds a silky smooth disco-funk bass line to the love fest. Download it for free below, a Christmas gift from from our friends the Final DJs. Put it on your late night rotation.
17 year old French DJ/Producer, Chateaubriand put together an impressive release with a stupendous remix line-up. Thanks to the artists and Yeah!/Dish Records, the entire EP is free to download. Make sure grab at least a couple of these panty-droppin' tracks.
First, a little background:
"The action takes place in Bordeaux, France, 1992. The young Paul, 17 years old, knows that it's a wonderful year to fall in love with another random chick. So this is it: tonight he'll pick up some red wine, find a new girl and will stand along the Garonne river. Eyes looking to the west, his best shot to get the job done is with the sunset going down on the city streets."
This is the tale of young Perseus. Just a few moons ago, Perseus opened The Magician's Magic Tape 12 with his retouch of Jeremy Glenn's "New Life". After noticing the people's desire for 112bpm tropical flavors, The Magician descended upon the lands of Mycenae and challenged Perseus to undertake a quest only fit for demigods. The Kraken? Medusa? No -- that's ancient history. The undertaking was fairly simple: if Perseus could craft 3 magical originals, he would share them with the masses. And so it happened, Magic Tape 15 was met with "Russian Girlfriends", followed by "Cool Runnings" in tape 17, and finally "Running Back To You" in tape 18.
The people prayed, day and day, asking for Perseus to unlock his music and share it with them. And so it was through the help of his "fly" stallion, Pegasus (or in alternative universes, "The French Express"), they heroically unchained the EP, for the masses to fully consume & enjoy.
All which remains from the great epic is the highly-coveted, highly-demanded 3-track EP, in heavenly 320k bit quality. It is yours, for keeps...

From the Venice Beach website (I think they're talking to me):
"If you're desperately yearning for that precious darn dancing sound with an oh-so-vintage-feel..."
"If you're longing to shake your head all night long listening to blissfully fresh club bangers that simply completely dig & rejuvenate that sound..."
Venice Beach is a new Parisian DJ/Producer duo who have been busy pumping out funky Italo-disco tracks. Their edit of Mirage's hit "Get Down" is a beautiful very-80's-style banger that keeps it simple and groovy. Free download below:
Tres Dubois got things heated up last night at the Onyx Room (San Diego) for the StrictlySocial.com launch party. The duo put together a very danceable feel-good set with a superb track list. Listen to their mash-up that we have featured as the first track of our "Still Hammered" playlist:
The seasoned local, Colour Vision picked up the pace with some super fly bass driven disco house. We introduced you to Colour Vision a few days ago when he released his Neon Indian remix: [LINK]. Make sure to follow his blog [LINK] and check out his SoundCloud page [LINK] to find more gems, like this one:
"There's this strange thing about people assuming I play with a mask, but I don't. I want everyone to see how handsome and confident I look behind the deck. I also still see from time to time people referring to me as "you guys" which might come from the usually forgotten apostrophe in The Phantom's Revenge." (Read the entire interview here:[LINK])
Making his first ever appearance in San Diego, The Phantom's Revenge threw down a slammin' set bursting with powerful disco house. He started out like a machine (or like a phantom, out for revenge?). But after a couple hours of hypnotizing the dirty dancers, he started to loosen up and fed the crowd with a few satisfied grins and fist pumps. I think he got his revenge.
Download his stellar remix of the Melee track, "Vectors":
To get a real idea of how this guy works, check out this amazing 2 hour and 20 minute mixtape recorded a couple months ago. Go ahead and preview the track list. Yeah, it's bananas.

We're excited to see what StrictlySocial.com has lined up for next month's SOCIAL CLUB party.
Featuring silky smooth vocals from jazz singer Charles Washinton, Ronika's newest single showcases her inner genius. This complex track comes together so effortlessly. It's pure sex.
Everyone seems to be doing one, and we're glad, because they're using the naturally catchy "Foster The people" vocals to complement their seriously intriguing Nu Retro sounds. The result is so fresh.
LA's Baby Monster did a super clean deep synth remix of "Houdini". Get the free download via Neon Gold Records: [LINK]
Neon Indian's "Polish Girl" has been remixed many times, but nothing quite like this. The co-founder of San Diego's tropical "BAJATON" party, Colour Vision turns this track into a silky smooth moombah-licious jam.
If you're in Southern California this weekend, don't miss Colour Vision playing along side up-and-coming DJ duo Tres Dubois, and France's finest The Phantom's Revenge at the Onyx Room in San Diego. Check the details here: [LINK] We'll post a show review next week for those who can't make it.
About a month ago, we reviewed some new tracks from Mike Glover's Act Razer project: [LINK].
Today we get the pleasure of cruisin' to "Ocean Drive", a fresh tune from Mike's other gig, Miami Nights 1984. This synth-laiden power pop is guaranteed to keep your high going. Yea it's late, but you can't hide you're inner Spracken. You've got enough for one last hollywood, so go ahead, it's time for a ride.
Australia's Luke Foskey AKA Youth did some "slight touch up" to Holy Ghost's remix of the classic Boy George track "Somebody to Love Me". This diva wave retro edit is graced with driving disco beat and gnarly club synths, making it very love-able.
Producer duo LBCK, or the "Long Beach City Kids" have teamed up with Chuuwee to bring you this funky ass hip hop heater. "Real Caviar" drops December 16th on La Valigetta.
"...get your ass on the dance floor, grab your girl. No need to think, just grab your drink..."
"Magnitogorsk, Russia, 1957. A strong sand storm is coming outside. Yaroslav and his friend Stephan, two boys from the town, born and raised, are ready. Their homemade synths are runnin' out of kerosene. Only one solution, cross the Kazakhstan border in the upcoming storm to get some more. Determined minds, motivated brains, the boys are coming through the night..."
Seriously impressed by this EP from the Russian duo, Sohight. Go back to the future with their electro-synth-pop originals, and continue the groove with some great remixes. Where da party at, boyz?
Download the entire "Boys EP" for free via the SoundCloud player below, courtesy of Yeah!/Dish Records. Get some!
The Drop Our Orchestra remix of "Reality TV" by Billie Ray Martin's band, The Opiates is pure sex. It's silky smooth with plenty of jam-ability.
This tune will be part of the The Opiates remix album, out early next year. Go to iTunes, or Billie Ray Martin's website [LINK] to check out the original "Hollywood Under The Knife" album.
Treasure Fingers always induces disco smiles ...but his new remix of Foster The People's track "Call It What You Want" may actually help increase your serotonin levels. Feel fresh no matter what kind of stupid shit you did last night, just pop some RaveAid and play this track a few times.
Tijuana's Victor Verdugo (AKA Viks Lander) hit us up on our Facebook page today, and we're glad he did. His nu sounds balance the perfect amount of uplighting bass, classy synth love, and straight chillin' melodies. This may be the best elevator / waiting room music ever produced. Give this guy some RESPECT.
This 1984 disco classic is not to be missed. London's vocalist Linda Lewis has a five octave vocal range that rubs you the right way ...well only if you got class and style.
The "Sweet Stuff 12 EP" by Montreal's AXXE marks another hot release from On The Fruit Records. Out of the six official remixes that grace the single, the "DREAMTRAK Diamond Dub" has found itself worth of your Nu Retro ears. It's persistently dancy and effortlessly radical.
Jam out to this next-level electronic disco. Pat Lok's debut EP "No Shame" rocks plenty of classy synths and funky beats. His original tracks are backed by big name remixes from Goldroom, Bit Funk, OHYEAH, and Volta Bureau.
American duo Casual Encounters teamed up with Sweden's Honom for this fantastic EP featuring two funky originals and a slew of fresh remixes. We are especially fond of "Robo Funk (original mix)" and "Giovanni's Way (Phunktastike Remix)".
The EP will be released November 25th on the Spirit Soul Music label, and you can order it here: [LINK]
On Monday, Pink Stallone dropped his newest single "Mine". The most impressive track of the EP is this sexy remix by Brooklyn's Eddie Mars. As Mr. Stallone says, "...it embodies our youthful grunge funk swag in a diamond crusted Eddie Mars box (and no DJ can pass it up)". The added synths and addictive dance beat make this one a high quality late night burner.

Teleported from sometime in between 1969 and 1987, the Surf Ambassador Hendo is driven by the force of Poseidon to make you dance. His first "re-work" is a super frothy bootleg of "I Wonder" by the 8 time Grammy winner, Luther Vandeross. Enjoy the free download and look forward to future 80's-vibe bangers from this weirdo.
